Voodoo Music Experience
Friday October 26 - Sunday October 28.
Every year, the Voodoo Music Experience places New Orleans under a weekend-long spell of music, food, crafts and culture. The Festival began in 1999 and has grown in size ever since. For three whole days, the festival takes over City Park with two main stages and several smaller stages not to mention countless local food and beverage vendors. Many local shops also take to the fest to sell everything from clothing to jewelry, art, and everything in between.
Tickets are available for single days or weekend passes, as well as VIP all-access passes. Each day begins early with smaller local bands, and goes long into the night, closing out with the big-name headliner. Many of the city’s music clubs also offer post-Voodoo, late-night concerts, so you can keep on rockin’ until the early morning. City Park is located a short 15 minutes drive from the French Quarter and Downtown, so getting back and forth is never a problem.
Check the Voodoo site for updated info about the lineup and tickets.
